Imp - Supplementary Exams and Assignments in March

Dear All,

pls note that Supplementary exams and assignments are being held in March.

Pls try and use this opportunity to catch with any of your pending or reappear exams and assignments. 

Pls login to SIS and access the applicable details.

Exam Details for exams via Aptech (new batches)

Dear All,

tomorrow would begin your first time for online based exams (probably) so let me go through some ground rules to help clarify the same for you.

1. Carry with you the following docs:

   a. your roll number

   b. your IMT-CDL ID Card (or any govt photo ID card like Driving Licence, PAN card, Voter's ID in lieu of the same in case you haven't recd it yet)

   c. Printout of Admit card

   d. couple of blank A4 sheets for rough work The centre may or may not provide the same, so carry your own.

   e. Pen for signing, rough work etc.  

2. NO books, or notes would be allowed. NO CELLPHONES!

3. In case you have to wait for like 5 to 10 minutes to start your exam, do not worry. The timing of the exam is measured from the time you start your exam. 

4. This is a CLOSED BOOK exam, pls give it in the spirit of the exam. Pls maintain decorum

5. Pls do not attempt to copy and share answers/questions with your fellow participants. This will lead to automatic shutdown of your and your fellow conspirator's exam. NO QUESTIONS ASKED! The invigilator's decision is final in this regard. 

6. Do stick to the timings and Do Press SUBMIT when you end the test. 

7. Timings:

   a. Total test duration - 1.5 hours/90 minutes each

8. Test Type:

   a. Total Questions - 60 (inclusive of One case study)

   b. NO NEGATIVE Marking

   c. Multiple Choice Pattern

9. In case you face a power cut or internet disruption or system error, we do normally try and restore the test to the point it crashed. But you CANNOT PAUSE the test in between. Once started you HAVE TO COMPLETE the test. The attempt would be counted. 

10. In case of any tech issues, pls contact the staff at the centre. 

11. For calculators and log tables, wherever required, pls note the following:

   a. Only PHOTOCOPIES of log tables as required are allowed, NO tearing from textbook or SHARING

   b. Only following tables are required/APPROVED - Time Value (QT), z-Table (QT), t-Table (QT), chi-square table (QT) as applicable. 

   c. Scientific Calculator is approved ONLY for QT (IMT 24) as applicable to you. 

   d. normal calculator is allowed for FA (IMT 57) and other finance and Operations related papers

12. Do not contest with the centre staff in this regard. Please!

1. You will receive a link from an Aptech ID, sent to the email ID you have provided me while booking your dates. 

   a. Pls check in your spam boxes as well

   b. The link will be sent by today EOD. 

   c. Mail Mr Dayal in case you do not receive the same by tomorrow morning. 

2. On the specified time of the exam, pls click on the link (not more than 5 minutes before the scheduled start time), input the access details as provided in the mail and start the exam.

3. Technical Specifications required:

   a. Uninterrupted Power Supply

   b. Reliable Internet

   c. Computer/laptop equipped with working webcam. 

   d. Internet Explorer ver 6.0 and above 

   e. DO NOT use Firefox or Chrome or Safari for exam. 

   f. System should have Java installed/updated/enabled

Exam Bookings, June 2011 cycle

Dear All,

pls note the following with regard to the exams in this cycle. 

1. Dates - b/w 22nd June and 17th July, 2011

2. Process - (as below)

   a. Login to the Student Homepage (SIS) on our website

   b. Scroll down to the heading - Examinations/Marks

   c. Under the sub-head - End Term Exams, June 2011, focus on the Online Mode

   d. Register yourself online (Exam Booking) and choose the available dates and timings to book the seats for all your exams. 

   e. Admit card would be generated, take a print out and carry it with you to the exam centre alongwith your CDL ID card or in its absence, any valid govt issued photo id proof,. 

3. Pls note - 

   a. The above process is applicable for all students in India and in places where there are accredited/available Aptech exam centres.

   b. In case you are in India in a location with no available Aptech centre exam centre or you are Outside India, then you would need to fill up this form (Link - https://spreadsheets.google.com/spreadsheet/viewform?hl=en_US&formkey=dEE1Y1VUTzRfUUdyZ1czeFNsb1g5SVE6MQ#gid=0) This form is to be filled by ONLY by these students. All other students would need to apply as per the process outlined as above. 

   c. Book your seats as early as possible as the slots are limited. 

   d. In there are any problems with the electives being displayed against your name, pls send me a mail for rectification. (as applicable)

4. Reappear cases, pls note - (as applicable)

   a. Last date for receipt of fees in the system or at CDL is 10th June, 2011

   b. Fees - Rs 500/- per paper (via online credit/debit card or DD)

   c. In case you are paying through DD, then you would also need to fill up and submit the attached form as well with the DD.

Dear All,

as of now, exam dates have not been finalised but there a tentative timeline that we can use to get our heads around the dates.

Tentative Start Date - After 10th June
Tentative End Date - Before 28th June.
