Reg. Email ID's in our records

Dear All,

pls note that some of you have emails that had been captured wrongly at the time of the form entry and you had gotten them changed in my records but not all were changed in the official records.

These official records are now being used to send emails regarding the classes and some of you have told me about non-receipt of links etc.

Pls fill up this form on my blog (Email ID's Editing) (link - https://spreadsheets.google.com/spreadsheet/viewform?formkey=dHh0M2lkZHZ2U3NVWTlNcmU3Sy04OXc6MQ) so that I can get the records updated so that confusion may be avoided.

You may cross check your email ID's as per official records by logging in to the Student Homepage and verifying the email ID.

Pls do not update this form if your email ID is correct.

Deadlines for Project Submission, June 2011 cycle

Dear All, (APGDM July 2009 and PGEM July 2010)

As you are aware, you need to submit the project report to IMT-CDL to enable you to appear for the viva in July and complete your course.

The deadlines are as follows: (for receipt of the hard copy format at the respective locations)
1. 31st May, 2011 (w/o late fees)
2. 15th June, 2011 (with late fees of Rs 1,000/-)

The timeframe for the viva is: 2nd week of July onwards. Further details will be communicated to you later.

For any student based in the US or abroad, you need to intimate me about your locational status so that necessary arrangements can be made for your viva to be taken via videoconferencing.

For all students in India, pls note that we have 4 locations for the viva, you may choose the one which is most convenient. The locations are Ghaziabad, Mumbai, Kolkata and Hyderabad.

All students need to attach a top sheet on the project report (available in the Student Homepage titled "Project Submission form, June 2011") with your locational preference and you need to send your project report to THE LOCATION chosen by you. Abroad students will send their project reports to Ghaziabad only.

All reports need to be in hard copy format and properly arranged and tied together, so that nothing goes missing while handling. Suggest that you all get the reports and attachments spiral bound.

Pls adhere to the deadlines and guidelines as prescribed above and ensure that your project report is complete in all respects and includes all/any of the following attachments as applicable:

1. Project Report (complete with data collection, analysis, tools used, methodology, project background, theoretical review etc.)
2. Photocopy of approved Synopsis
3. Photocopy of ID card
4. Top Sheet with locational preference
5. Resume and Consent Letter (in original) from your project guide.

Best of Luck!

Pls do let me know in case of any doubts/queries

Reg. FA class on 06/005 (Friday)

as I am sure you are aware, Prof. Pallavi has asked for a special class on 06th May, Friday from 1730 to 2030 since she wants cover up the syllabus.

Now some of you may have an issue with the class on Friday but I believe it was through common consensus by the participants of the class held on 30th April.

I know that this class on a weekday is a circumstance extraordinaire!

In 4 semesters that I have run, there has been no core paper class on the weekdays.

This unique circumstance is due to the fact that Prof. Pallavi has some very urgent family concern and she is unable to take a class during any weekend of May. So in order not to break the link, she has decided that even though it is a bit of a hassle for all concerned, there would be a class on Friday, tomorrow from 1730 to 2030.

She has also said that anyone who can may join and in case there are any serious doubts, she will share her contact details.

I myself hate having classes on weekends since it is difficult for you all, but this is the first time and I hope probably the last as well.

Appreciate your cooperation and support.
